She married Gerrit Sjoukes Tadema on 15 September 1850, in Schoterland, Friesland, Netherlands. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 4 daughters. She died on 14 April 1872, in Schoot, North Brabant, Netherlands, at the age of 47.
