Eva Catharina Grub was born in 1716, in Welchweiler, Kusel, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany as the daughter of Johann Caspar Grub and Maria Eva Werner. She married Johann Nickle Nickum Jr on 16 February 1736, in Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 2 daughters. She died in 1811, in Somerset, Pennsylvania, United States, at the age of 95.
