When Samuel Larsen was born in 1692, in Norway, his father, Lars Iversen, was 32 and his mother, Marith Bugge, was 31. He married Ane Olsdatter in 1719. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 3 daughters. He died on 28 August 1737, at the age of 45, and was buried in Norway.
