He lived in Newton Township, Jefferson, Nebraska, United States in 1910 and Sidney, Cheyenne, Nebraska, United States for about 20 years. He died on 6 March 1961, in Wymore, Gage, Nebraska, United States, at the age of 85, and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Sidney, Cheyenne, Nebraska, United States.
