When Maria Eugenia de Ávila was born about 1814, in Coahuila, Mexico, her father, Dn José Miguel De Abila, was 32 and her mother, Doña Ana Maria Vielma, was 28. She married Juan Jose de Cardenas on 30 June 1832, in San José, Cuatro Ciénegas, Coahuila, Mexico. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 10 daughters. She died in 1858, at the age of 45.
