When Kulikefu Latu Paleionangalu was born about 1740, in Nuku'alofa, Tongatapu, Tonga, his father, Ve'ehala, was 71 and his mother, Pilinisesi Fetunu Ngata Tu'ikanokupolu, was 80. He married Sela Vahenga about 1745, in Tonga. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. He was buried in Mu`a, Tongatapu, Tonga.
