When Jane Handley was born about 1783, in Thomaston, Knox, Maine, United States, her father, John Thomas Handley, was 31 and her mother, Mary Etheridge, was 30. She married James Weed about 2 February 1803. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. She lived in Appleton, Waldo, Maine, United States in 1850 and Appleton, Knox, Maine, United States in 1860. She died on 4 December 1869, at the age of 87, and was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Appleton, Knox, Maine, United States.
