When Johann Gerhard Dinges was born about 1674, in Einselthum, Donnersbergkreis, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, his father, Johann Nicol Phillip Dinges, was 59 and his mother, Maria Kilb, was 55. He married Maria Demuht Haynen on 9 November 1700, in Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany. He lived in Harxheim, Zellertal, Donnersbergkreis, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany in 1703. He died on 5 March 1743, in Daimbacherhof, Mörsfeld, Donnersbergkreis, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, at the age of 70.
