Brief Life History of Margaretha

When Margaretha van Egmond was born in 1517, in Bar-le-Duc, Meuse, France, her father, Jean IV Comte Van Egmont, was 18 and her mother, Françoise van Luxembourg, was 18. She married Duke Nicolas I de Lorraine-Lotharingen of Vaudemont Mercoeur on 1 May 1549, in Brussels, Belgium. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 3 daughters. She died on 10 March 1554, in her hometown, at the age of 37, and was buried in Bar-le-Duc, Meuse, France.
