He lived in Marlborough, Jackson, Missouri, United States in 1940 and Mission, North Benton Township, Polk, Missouri, United States in 1944. He died on 13 January 1944, in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri, United States, at the age of 86, and was buried in Springfield, Sangamon, Illinois, United States.
