When Nancy Beheler was born on 17 March 1787, in Franklin, Virginia, United States, her father, David Buehler, was 42 and her mother, Elizabeth Armstead, was 37. She married Frederick Fishburn on 2 February 1807, in Franklin, Virginia, United States. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 5 daughters. She lived in Macon, Tennessee, United States for about 20 years. She died on 19 November 1872, at the age of 85.

1788 · The First Presidential Election

The First Presidential election was held in the newly created United States of America. Under the Articles of Confederation, the executive branch of the country was not set up for an individual to help lead the nation. So, under the United States Constitution they position was put in. Because of his prominent roles during the Revolutionary War, George Washington was voted in unanimously as the First President of the United States.
