When Charles Hart was born on 29 March 1787, in Warminster Township, Bucks, Pennsylvania, United States, his father, Joseph Hart Jr, was 28 and his mother, Ann Folwell, was 29. He died on 25 September 1797, in his hometown, at the age of 10.

1788 · The First Presidential Election

The First Presidential election was held in the newly created United States of America. Under the Articles of Confederation, the executive branch of the country was not set up for an individual to help lead the nation. So, under the United States Constitution they position was put in. Because of his prominent roles during the Revolutionary War, George Washington was voted in unanimously as the First President of the United States.

1791 · Whiskey Rebellion Occurs

The Whiskey Rebellion was a protest against taxes on whiskey by farmers and distillers. People were tarred and feathered. They attacked Bower Hill and headed towards Pittsburgh. The militia was sent in to try and stop it. It finally ended with a repeal of the tax.
