He lived in Kendall, Hamilton, Kansas, United States for about 15 years and Read, Delta, Colorado, United States in 1940. He died on 28 December 1959, in Chanute, Neosho, Kansas, United States, at the age of 76, and was buried in Syracuse, Hamilton, Kansas, United States.

1890 · Gold is Discovered

In 1890, Robert Miller Womack discovers a rich gold deposit along Cripple Creek, near the western slope of Pikes Peak. This would become the richest gold strike in the Rocky Mountin area.

1903 · Department of Commerce and Labor

A short-lived Cabinet department which was concerned with controlling the excesses of big business. Later being split and the Secretary of Commerce and Labor splitting into two separate positions.
