When Per Johansson Hult was born on 9 September 1781, in Skog, Östergötland, Sweden, his father, Johan Henriksson Hult, was 27 and his mother, Lena Persdotter, was 27. He married Anna Jaensdotter on 14 December 1805, in Dalhem, Kalmar, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. He died on 11 June 1852, in Dalhem, Kalmar, Sweden, at the age of 70.
