He lived in Wesson, Copiah, Mississippi, United States in 1910 and Justice Precinct 8, Dallas, Texas, United States in 1920. He died on 25 March 1921, in Irving, Dallas, Texas, United States, at the age of 69, and was buried in Shady Grove Cemetery, Grand Prairie, Dallas, Texas, United States.

1862 · Battle of Shiloh
The battle of Shiloh took place on April 6, 1862 and April 7, 1862. Confederate soldiers camp through the woods next to where the Union soldiers were camped at Pittsburg Landing on the Tennessee River. With 23,000 casualties this was the bloodiest battle of the Civil War up to this point.
