When Amey Tower was born on 29 October 1769, in Rhode Island, United States, her father, Icabod Tower, was 29 and her mother, Mary Pullen, was 28. She married Abner Lapham on 20 June 1797. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 5 daughters. She died on 12 January 1809, at the age of 39.
