When Morten Quistgaard Muusmann was born on 7 September 1822, in Århus, Denmark, his father, Lorentz Muusmann, was 36 and his mother, Bolette Kirstine Kuhlmann, was 38. He married Marie Sophie Frederikke de Linde on 9 August 1856, in Helsingør, Frederiksborg, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 3 daughters. He lived in Roskilde Domsogn, Sømme, Roskilde, Denmark in 1870 and Copenhagen, Denmark for about 15 years. He died on 30 March 1917, at the age of 94.

Kuffert Sorensen was established in 1829 by Carl Peter Sorensen as a leather goods company. Today the business has five locations and each are run by a member of the Sorensen family.
The Casino Theatre was built as an entertainment center by Georg Carstensen but was converted into a theatre in 1848. After many years of never gaining popularity, it was closed in 1937 and demolished in 1960.
