When Ole Hansen was born in 1789, in Fet, Akershus, Norway, his father, Hans Olsen Holter, was 25 and his mother, Mette Pedersdatter Hovin, was 26. He married Johanna Marie Andersdatter on 30 January 1824, in Aker, Akershus, Norway. They were the parents of at least 2 daughters. He lived in Svarstad, Blaker, Aurskog, Akershus, Norway in 1801. He died in 1864, in Sørum, Akershus, Norway, at the age of 75.
