When Francois St Germain was born on 28 November 1866, in St. François Xavier Rural Municipality, Manitoba, Canada, his father, Leandre Theodore St Germain, was 27 and his mother, Anastasie Pelletier, was 25. He married MARIE ELIZA GEDDIES on 28 July 1890, in Marieval, Willowdale No. 153, Saskatchewan, Canada. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 3 daughters. He immigrated to United States in 1892 and lived in Williams, North Dakota, United States in 1900 and Opheim, Valley, Montana, United States in 1910. He died on 19 August 1953, in Wolf Point, Roosevelt, Montana, United States, at the age of 86, and was buried in Courchene Cemetery, Wolf Point, Roosevelt, Montana, United States.

1867 · Sorry Mr. President, You can't do that.

This Act was to restrict the power of the President removing certain office holders without approval of the Senate. It denies the President the power to remove any executive officer who had been appointed by the president with the advice and consent of the Senate, unless the Senate approved the removal during the next full session of Congress. The Amendment was later repealed.
