When Susanne Buffe was born about 10 July 1801, in Angrogna, Turin, Piedmont, Italy, her father, (Elder) Daniel Buffe, was 35 and her mother, Maria Odin, was 31. She married Jean Malan on 2 March 1854, in Angrogna, Turin, Piedmont, Italy. She died on 27 January 1859, in her hometown, at the age of 57.
