When Nils Nilsson was born on 29 March 1790, in Alsen, Jämtland, Sweden, his father, Nils Jonsson, was 39 and his mother, Dordia Olsdotter, was 33. He married Anna Eriksdotter. They were the parents of at least 1 son. He died on 7 July 1857, in Rödön, Jämtland, Sweden, at the age of 67.
