When Karin Ericsson was born on 7 May 1791, in Rödön, Jämtland, Sweden, her father, Eric Simonsson, was 37 and her mother, Brita Olofsdotter, was 35. She married Jonas Jonsson on 7 October 1838, in Ås, Jämtland, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. She died on 14 October 1819, at the age of 28.
