When Sivert Larsen was born in 1754, in Horg, Melhus Prestegjeld, Sør-Trøndelag, Norway, his father, Lars Sivertsen, was 31 and his mother, Gulloug Christoffersen, was 31. He had at least 2 sons and 1 daughter with Marit Olsen. He died on 20 August 1814, in his hometown, at the age of 60.
