She married James Morris Hamlet III on 11 November 1772, in Charlotte, Virginia, British Colonial America. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 6 daughters. She died on 12 June 1812, in Charlotte Court House, Charlotte, Virginia, United States, at the age of 61.
