Sarah Ann Finley was born on 22 March 1829, in Washington Township, Lawrence, Pennsylvania, United States. She married Moses Mecham about 1851, in Illinois, United States. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 2 daughters. She lived in Lynden Election Precinct, Furnas, Nebraska, United States in 1885 and Furnas, Nebraska, United States in 1900. She died on 2 September 1901, at the age of 72.
