When Johann Philip Klinger was born on 10 November 1753, in Chester, Delaware, Pennsylvania, United States, his father, Johannes Alexander Klinger, was 25 and his mother, Christina Elizabeth Fuss, was 18. He married Anna Barbara Ickes on 23 April 1779, in Preble, Ohio, United States. They were the parents of at least 12 sons. He registered for military service in 1833. He died on 10 April 1841, in West Alexandria, Preble, Ohio, United States, at the age of 87, and was buried in Old Town Cemetery, West Alexandria, Preble, Ohio, United States.

1800 · Movement to Washington D.C.
