When Isaako Leasi was born about 1942, in Satitoa, Samoa, his father, Pepe Leasi, was 46 and his mother, Leuma Ilimaleota, was 28. He married Sialuga Lutau on 17 December 1966. They were the parents of at least 2 sons. He died on 22 August 1986, in Samoa, at the age of 45.
