When Catharina Clasdotter was born in 1752, in Levide, Gotland, Sweden, her father, Clas Classon, was 27 and her mother, Valborg Clasdotter, was 26. She married Hans Jacobson on 2 November 1772, in Hablingbo, Gotland, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 5 daughters. She died on 11 December 1797, at the age of 45.
