When Per Kvarnhols Persson was born in 1795, in Malung, Dalarna, Sweden, his father, Pehr Danielsson, was 31 and his mother, Anna Andersdotter, was 29. He married Brita Olsdotter on 24 June 1822. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 3 daughters. He died on 15 February 1879, in Kvarnholn, Dalarna, Sweden, at the age of 84.
