When Daniel Mason was born on 25 March 1707, in Stonington, New London, Connecticut Colony, British Colonial America, his father, Peter Mason, was 26 and his mother, Mary Hobart, was 23. He married Hannah Chapell on 19 December 1734. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 2 daughters. He died on 5 February 1750, in his hometown, at the age of 42.
