Brief Life History of Mats

When Mats Mattsson was born on 7 October 1745, in Näs, Gotland, Sweden, his father, Mathias Mattsson, was 31 and his mother, Cerstin Jöransdotter, was 22. He married Anna Larsdotter on 28 October 1764, in Näs, Gotland, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 13 daughters. He died on 21 December 1829, in his hometown, at the age of 84.
