When Claus Hinrich Langmaack was born in 1785, in Prussia, Germany, his father, Heinrich Langmaak, was 25 and his mother, Catherine Margaretha Schnorr, was 22. He married Abel Blunck on 8 November 1809, in Neumünster, Schleswig-Holstein, Prussia, Germany. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He died in 1867, in his hometown, at the age of 82.
