When Anthony Lingle was born in 1764, in Rowan, North Carolina, United States, his father, Lorentz Lingel, was 38 and his mother, Eva Cathrine Bidebach, was 54. He married Elizabeth Dolen or Dowling from 1792 to 1795. He died on 10 October 1836, in Union, Illinois, United States, at the age of 72.
