Ngei Malinive was born on 16 August 1902, in Samoa as the daughter of Uili Tapu and Vaitai Fue. She married Sosaia 'Uluenga in 1924. They were the parents of at least 2 daughters. She died on 25 October 1975, at the age of 73.
